A Blue Peter Badge for the Cone Exchange

We were thrilled to be invited to appear on Blue Peter alongside a group of crafty children from Hookstone Chase Primary School. Our very own Chris Powell was interviewed by presenters Radzi and Lindsey and explained about the Cone Exchange and how we reuse items that are destined for landfill. Chris was thrilled to be presented with his very own Green Blue Peter badge which will take pride of place with his MBE!

We were on CBBC on Thursday 21st June at 5.30pm and its available on BBC I-Player now if you want to check it out.

Love is in the air. Part one: Anna & Colin

It was great to see the Cone Exchange there as Chris  gave Helmsley School 30 chutney buckets earlier in the year for the reception class to do a sponsored water carry to raise money for Oxfam, Water Aid and York Flood Relief. They raised £400 and are still using the buckets in school.’
